Summer Bishil is an American actor who is most well-known in her portrayal as Margo Hanson in the Syfy show about a fantasy romance called The Magicians (2015-present). The role she played before as a Lebanese American young woman Jasira, who goes through a series of personal struggles against the backdrop of the U.S. invasion in Iraq during the Gulf War was featured in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. In the following year, she was named one of Variety's Top 10 Actors to Watch in 2007. In 2009, she portrayed the powerful Taslima in the film Crossing Over.
